What miCHILIgan means to you
What the hammock community is about

Design Requirements

You may submit up to 3 designs.
Designs must be at least 1080 × 1080 pixels.
Designs should work within a circular format. Square designs are welcome but may be cropped into a circle.
PNG files are preferred (transparent PNGs are welcome)
JPEG files are also accepted

Official Branding Assets

Disqualifications

  • Copyrighted logos, characters, or artwork you do not own
  • Offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
  • Designs unrelated to the contest themes
  • Entries that do not meet the file requirements
  • AI-generated artwork

If the C.O.R.E. Team suspects AI-generated artwork was used, we may request proof of creation, such as screenshots of your process, early drafts, or software history.
You will have 48 hours to respond to any requests for clarification. Failure to respond may result in the affected design being removed from the contest. Removal of one design does not automatically disqualify your other entries.

Important Dates

Submissions Open: July 1

Submissions Close: July 11 at 11:59 PM ET

Community Voting: July 18–25 at 11:59 PM ET

Winners Announced: August 1 (the same day miCHILIgan 2026 tickets go on sale!)

Who Can Enter?

Anyone 18 years or older registered for miCHILIgan 2026—or planning to register—may enter.

If you’re not registered when you submit, that’s okay! You must complete your registration by the end of voting on July 25 to remain eligible. If the top vote-getter is not registered by then, the prize will pass to the next highest vote-getter.

How to enter

Email your submission(s) to: michiligan.hang@gmail.com

Include:

  • Your name as it appears (or will appear) on your miCHILIgan registration
  • Your email address (if different from the one you’re sending from)
  • Your trail name (if applicable)
  • Your preferred artist credit:
    • Full Name
    • First Name Only
    • Trail Name
    • Hammock Forums Username
    • Anonymous
  • A short description of each design
  • Up to 3 attached design files
  • The following agreement statement:

    By submitting this entry, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the Official miCHILIgan Design Contest Rules. I understand and agree that all rights to any designs I submit transfer immediately to miCHILIgan upon submission. I grant miCHILIgan permission to modify, resize, crop, adjust colors, add text, reproduce, distribute, and use my submission on stickers, patches, magnets, apparel, promotional materials, and future merchandise without additional compensation. I understand that artist credit will be provided according to my stated preference whenever practical. I further affirm that this submission is my own original work, does not contain AI-generated artwork, copyrighted characters or logos, or offensive content, and complies with all contest requirements.

If any required information is missing, we’ll contact you and you’ll have 48 hours to provide it before your entry becomes ineligible.
